About Us

The United Democratic Volunteers of Alabama (UDVAL) is a grassroots network empowering volunteers to support Democratic initiatives across the state.

Founded in 2021 as UDCAL (United Democratic Clubs of Alabama) and then changed to UDVAL in late 2024, we leverage our network of volunteers to fill in the gaps of other Democratic organizations instead of reinventing the wheel.

We are not a political action committee (PAC) nor a non-profit or for-profit organization. We have no funds, no bank account, no mailing address, and no paid staff. We are all volunteers helping other volunteers.
